Survivors

While our continuing research into the stories of the men lost on the Laurentic is at the heart of the project, we remember too those who survived. They were fewer in number and given that their names appear rarely in reports of the sinking, their stories are harder to find and harder to tell. However, on the marking of the Centenary, we had the opportunity to meet and talk to John Madden, named for his grandfather, who did survive the sinking.
